WHO WE ARE

Shoalhaven Occupational Therapy is the Shoalhaven’s leading OT provider. Based in Nowra, we support local people and families right across the region to improve their daily living.

Friendly, caring and highly experienced, our team offers tailored assessments and therapies for people of all ages at the Holt Centre clinic, at school or even at home.

Established in 2020, our founders Claire and Nathan wanted to ensure all members of the Shoalhaven community had access to thorough OT assessments and flexible support services that fit within their schedules and lifestyles, without compromising

on service.

Beyond working with clients privately, or via the NDIS, we also partner closely with other community-based organisations and

have built up a strong network of industry specialists.

MISSION / VISION / VALUES

VALUES

  • CLIENTS AT HEART

Without our clients we don’t exist. Its why we are so passionate about assisting South Coast locals improve their quality of life, and care deeply about everyone we support, no matter age or ability. We bring a genuinely personal approach that puts our clients (and their family members) at the heart of everything we do. We also strive to be as flexible as possible, tailoring support that fits around their schedule, situation, budget and, of course, their goals.

  • COLLECTIVE JOY

Together, we are so much stronger than as individuals alone. We work as a team, every day, to solve problems, grasp opportunities and create better life outcomes for our clients. We support and lift each other up, help where it’s needed and share the load (and successes) with a flat company structure – and plenty of smiles along the way. Everyone is heard. Everyone is cared for. Everyone is treated as an equal.

  • LISTEN UP

Everyone is different. Every situation, unique. That’s why we pride ourselves on being good listeners and always pay attention to what’s being said, be it big or small. Active listening unlocks greater understanding of our clients’ lives and needs, providing key pathways to better outcomes. It also helps us better understand the other members of our own team. The more we listen, the more we can help our clients, and the more we can grow as a group, and as individuals.

  • POWERED BY POSITIVITY

Yes, we do important work. But we’re experienced enough to know it isn’t always easy. Rather than dwell on the challenges and setbacks that inevitably come along, we embrace them wholeheartedly through a ‘solutions-first’ mindset. We focus on the positives, work hard, and keep striving to deliver the very best outcomes for our clients – whether that’s through our own services, recommending others, or a combination of the two.
