Claire Carson

PRINCIPAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST AND COMPANY DIRECTOR

Claire has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Western Sydney.  

Her Honours research on the impact of post breast cancer lymphoedema was presented in 2011 at the Australian Occupational Therapy Conference and The World Occupational Therapy conference.  

The abstract was also published in the Australian Occupational Therapy Journal (Link: https://researchdirect.westernsydney.edu.au/islandora/object/uws:48192).  

Claire has also completed a Master of Health Industry Management with Curtin University.  Her thesis was on evidence based practice in occupational therapy.  

This research was  presented at the Australian Occupational conference in 2019 and the abstract published in the Australian Occupational Therapy journal (LINK: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/1440-1630.12584).  

Claire has worked in the health industry for over 19 years.  She has experience in a range of clinical areas across the lifespan.  Claire has worked in mental health, inpatient wards, community setting, aged care and rehabilitation.  

She is also the allied health representative for the Shoalhaven Professional Business Association.
